Before doing a deep dive into implementation details, let’s look at web architectures and patterns in order to classify Oracle JET properly and get a better understanding. The de facto standard pattern is MVC (Model-View-Controller) on the server side. Whether you are using Perl, PHP, Phyton or the Oracle/Java-based techniques like JSPs (Java Server Pages), Struts (Open Source Apache Framework), JSF (Java Server Faces) or ADF Faces, best practice is to separate your code into Model, View and Controller.
