On our journey towards the cloud it is key to present a roadmap for our on-premises customers. As a first step the upgrade to the latest Fusion Middleware 12c release ensures a smooth journey. Customers benefit also from new functionalities e.g multitenancy in WebLogic Suits 12c. Make use of the WIN Workshop (community membership required) material to demonstrate your customers the advantages. The latest release of Fusion Middleware 22.214.171.124 shows the continues improvements. In a second step customers can consolidate their WebLogic serves into a private cloud platform using multitenancy. Workloads can be shifted to Java Cloud Services, new can be built in JCS or ACC supporting polyglot programming languages. Regular updates of the cloud services e.g. Application Development Platform — 16.4.3 introduce new functionality.
Oracle Container Cloud Service (CCS) a brand new cloud service is available. Any docker image can be deployed in CCS, Oracle workload or non-Oracle workload. Workload can be easily shifted between on-premises and a cloud vendor, or even between public clouds.
Specialization becomes even more important with cloud computing. We are exited to launch the OPN Specialization: Oracle Application Development Cloud Platform. This your opportunity to learn more about Java and Application Container Cloud Service and to become an certified expert:
