Instant apps are micro applications that you call from a bot and that open in a web view on the mobile device or a tab on a browser.
Technically, instant apps are server side applications that are called from Oracle Intelligent Bots in the context of a bot conversation and that can receive parameters from a bot and return parameters back to it.

For example, instant app features provide you options to render charts, upload photos, capture signatures, embed and communicate with remote websites, integrate YouTube and social buttons, display PDF documents and many more.
In this article I explain how data information can be passed from a bot in Oracle Intelligent Bots to an instant app and how this data can be used to render a list, a group of radio groups in my example, for the user to select from. The selected value is then passed back to the bot. Read the complete article here.
